About IronLand

Last Updated: October 2026

IronLand.com is the online yard for heavy equipment. Dealers, rental houses, contractors, quarries, logging crews and farm operators use it to move iron: excavators, dozers, feller bunchers, drills, combines, forklifts, dump trucks, compressors and the attachments that make them work - new and used, for sale or for rent by the week.

Who the Yard Is For

  • Dealers clearing trade-ins, stocking used iron and publishing an inventory a sales rep can hand across the desk
  • Rental companies posting a weekly rate and turning idle units into revenue between contracts
  • Contractors, quarries, loggers and farms selling a machine that has finished its run, or renting the one unit they only need for two weeks
  • Buyers who want the spec plate, the hours and the service story before they put a flatbed on the road

How the Yard Works

  • A seller parks a lot: machine, year, hours or mileage, condition grade, honest notes, asking price and - if it goes out for rent - a weekly rate.
  • A buyer or renter reads the ticket, filters the board by yard and by sale or rent, then contacts the seller about that lot.
  • The two parties inspect, negotiate, contract, pay and move the machine between themselves. IronLand stays out of the deal.
  • When the lot sells or the rental closes, the seller pulls the ticket off the board.

Eight Yards, One Gate

Lots are filed the way a yard is laid out: Earth & Construction, Forestry, Mining & Quarry, Agriculture, Lift & Yard, Haul & Transport, Power & Air, and Attachments. Pick the kind of iron you came for and walk that yard - no scrolling through somebody's skid steer when you wanted a drum truck.

What IronLand Is Not

We are not an auction house, a broker, a lender or an insurer. There is no bidding, no reserve, no hammer fee and no commission taken from your sale - the number on the plate is the number you shake on. We never take possession of machines, we do not hold buyer or renter funds, we do not title or transport equipment, and we are not a party to the bill of sale or the rental agreement. The full picture is in the Disclaimer and the Terms & Conditions.

Our Commitment

  • Specs over sales talk: every ticket asks for hours, condition and the service story, not a stock photo and a superlative
  • Open prices: no hidden reserve, no shill bids, no bidding games
  • Direct dealing: buyer and seller speak for themselves; IronLand is the yard, not the middleman
  • Small data: your theme, palette and cookie choice stay on your own device - see the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy
