What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or phone). Browser local storage works the same way: a small record kept on your own machine so the site can remember your choices between visits. Neither gives us a way to follow you around the web.
Storage We Use
These entries are needed so the yard remembers how you set it up. They are written to your device, not to our servers, and turning them off costs you the feature they belong to:
- ironland:theme - your light or dark mode choice (stored on your device)
- ironland:scheme - your chosen paint job: Foundry, Hazard Tape, Timber Line, Ore Body, Blueprint, Redline, Harbor Teal or Night Shift (stored on your device)
- ironland:cookies - records that you answered this notice, so it is not shown to you again (stored on your device)
Your palette and mode are painted onto the page by a small inline script before the first pixel, which is why the site does not flash white when you reload it in dark mode.
We Do NOT Use
- Advertising or behavioral tracking cookies
- Third-party marketing or retargeting cookies
- Cookies that trace your browsing across other websites
- Cookies that build a profile of you for sale or sharing
- Session cookies that survive closing the browser for no reason
Controlling Storage
Your browser lets you view what a site has stored, delete individual entries or all of them, block new entries, or allow storage only from sites you name. Note: if you block this site's storage, IronLand.com will forget your mode, your paint job and your answer to the cookie notice each time you leave.

Third-Party Storage
IronLand.com loads its typefaces (Archivo and Saira Condensed) from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of serving the font files and may set its own cookies under Google's privacy terms. We choose services known for minimal data collection and we run no advertising or analytics scripts of our own.
Changes to This Policy
If we add a cookie or a storage entry, this page is updated with the new item and a revised date before it goes live. Materially new tracking will always need a fresh consent from you.
